Walker Magazine (online edition viewable at this link), an installment of the Daily Mountain Eagle, recently published its second issue (January 2013/Volume 1, Issue 2). I was responsible for creating the name plate, layout design as well as producing some ads within.
The Daily Mountain Eagle in Jasper, AL started a quarterly magazine with its first issue hitting stands this past October (2012). Although I did not design the cover, besides the name plate, I created all of the layout design as well as the production of most ads inside. You may view the entire Volume 1, Issue 1 via this link: Walker Magazine.
Poster design for an all acoustic show at Café 541 in Tuscaloosa, AL for Seryn and Julia Sinclair in which I personally got to host in conjunction with Cause A Scene Music for the In Good Company Tour. Foreign Fields was added to the bill a little too late to be added to the poster, but not too late to come in and put on an amazing show along with Seryn and Julia. [11.12.12] Haven’t heard any of these bands/musicians yet? That surely is a shame.
I was privileged enough to do another poster for Seryn, this time also featuring David Ramirez for their three night holiday tour. 11.25.12
I created this poster in the summer of 2010 while doing an internship with The Bottletree in downtown Birmingham. Bands that night were MC Chris, MC Lars, and Math The Band.
This is a front and back postcard I created for a band called Seryn from Denton, Texas who is very much on the rise right now. This was passed out at Folk Alliance International and SXSW just a few months ago. I had to reconstruct their logo both in vector form and with the colorized album art overlay. I’ve loved every second of getting to work for them. (Photo of Seryn courtesy of Chelsea Criss Photography.)
Here is a homepage to a website I’m currently designing for Dunamis. There are a few touch-ups that still need to be made, but this is the basic look and feel of it overall and finalization should be approaching soon.
